EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) – A statewide coalition in Illinois is calling on the government to fund meals for all Illinois students. Healthy School Meals for All Kids called on the General Assembly to provide $209 million dollars in the 2025 budget, that will go towards breakfast and lunch meals.
