AUBURN, Ky. – Two men are accused of leading police on a high-speed pursuit in Logan County on Thursday evening.
Sheriff Stephen Stratton says a sergeant observed a vehicle traveling east on U.S. 68/80 near Cemetery Road reaching speeds exceeding 100 mph. The sergeant says the vehicle did not have a license plate and was traveling without lights. The vehicle forced other motorists off the road.
Authorities say the vehicle turned north onto KY 103 and a deputy attempted to stop the vehicle near Howlett Drive. The driver didn’t stop and continued at speeds exceeding 120 mph on both sides of the road…
