PADUCAH – In 54 days the nation will have a general election, but in Kentucky the election starts much sooner than that. On Sept. 21, the portal to request an absentee ballot will open up on the Kentucky Secretary of State website. Not long after that, votes will start pouring in to county clerks offices throughout the commonwealth.
