When you look up the meaning of diversity, the first thing you’ll find is a one-word definition – it simply means “variety.” Over the years, however, that definition has expanded quite a bit. These days you probably think of diversity more along the lines of “the practice of including or involving people from a range of different social and ethnic backgrounds and of different genders, sexual orientations, etc.”
