Nebraska Supreme Court upholds Lincoln man’s murder conviction

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – The Nebraska Supreme Court upheld a Lincoln man’s murder conviction on Friday. The Nebraska Supreme Court found there was no merit to 30-year-old Kolton Barnes’ argument regarding the district court’s discovery and evidentiary rulings, the alleged prosecutorial misconduct and the violations of due process rights. The court concluded by affirming Barnes’ conviction.
