Mega Millions winners in Pennsylvania, jackpot nears impressive $1B

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. (WTAJ) — Two $20,000 Mega Millions tickets were sold in Pennsylvania, but the jackpot was untouched — bringing it to nearly $1 billion.

Two tickets matched four of five numbers and the Mega Ball and had Megaplier (2) and are worth $20,000.

Another three tickets matched four of the five numbers and the Mega Ball but did not have Megaplier and won $10,000.

According to the PA Lottery, more than 100,000 other winning Mega Millions tickets were sold in Pennsylvania worth between $2 and $1,000.

Mega Millions officials said $2 million tickets were sold in California, Texas, Virginia, and Florida.

The Mega Millions jackpot is now worth an estimated $977 million for Friday’s drawing. Wednesday night’s Powerball is an estimated $687 million.
