After being delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the deadline to get a Real ID in the state of Pa. is starting to inch closer. After May 7, 2025, Americans will need a Real ID to board domestic flights and to enter military bases or federal buildings that require ID. While a Real ID is not required for driving, voting, or accessing hospitals, it might pose issues across other organizations and activities.
