On the hunt for antique, vintage furniture around Middle Tennessee: Shop here, not there

Old is in, and it’s everywhere.

Antique boutiques and shops have seemingly cropped up on nearly every corner around Middle Tennessee, offering shoppers an array of retro and old-fashioned finds.

“You can pick up really good stuff,” Generations Furniture Refinishing & Restoration of Hermitage Owner Richard Scott said. He also added that estate sales are another great option for shoppers who might be seeking deals.

“I think there’s lots of opportunities… you can find some really fun finds, and it’s a bit of an adventure, too, kind of a treasure hunt seeing what you can find,” Of Origin Design Studios Owner and Principal Designer Justin Orton said.

In addition to the lesser known options, there are also some well-known, tried and true events out there, like the Nashville Flea Market and the Antiques & Garden Show of Nashville.

And there are some not-so-obvious choices, too.

Antique Archaeology

American Pickers’ television series creator and star Mike Wolfe is behind Antique Archeology , a renovated 1900’s automobile factory selling unique and antique finds, in North Nashville’s Marathon Village at 1300 Clinton St, Ste 130, in Nashville.
