Legal process ramps up for Staten Island bus driver charged in fatal Virginia crash

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The Staten Island bus driver facing multiple charges in a fatal multi-vehicle collision in Virginia has been released from the hospital, according to Virginia State Police.

Jing S. Dong, 48, who is charged with five counts of involuntary manslaughter and a misdemeanor charge of reckless driving, is now being held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail in Stafford, Virginia.
