NEW YORK (PIX11) — Armed robbers stole more than $100,000 in cash and jewelry in one of four incidents across the Bronx and Manhattan last month, police said Monday.
The suspects rode up in a black car and pulled a gun on three people, a 40-year-old man, a 38-year-old woman, and a 27-year-old woman, near 1776 Eastchester Rd. in the Bronx at around 7:20 a.m. on Jan. 29, according to the NYPD. One of the thieves used a gun to hit the man in the face, causing minor injuries, police said.
The suspects took $115,000 from the three victims, including cash, jewelry, and a watch, before driving off, cops said.
