Victim hospitalized after stabbing outside Staten Island deli, NYPD says

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A person was stabbed outside a Staten Island deli Friday evening, according to a spokesperson for the NYPD.

The male victim was stabbed at around 6:07 p.m. in the vicinity of Van Duzer and Beach streets, the spokesperson told the Advance/SILive.com. Police did not share whether the victim is an adult man or an adolescent.

Blood and crime scene tape were seen outside the deli at the busy intersection.
