STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — More than 250 nonprofit leaders and community members gathered Sunday at the Richmond County Country Club to celebrate the work of 24 volunteers and staff members who were recognized at Nonprofit Staten Island’s 14th Annual Community Service Awards Breakfast.
The April 19 event, held during National Volunteer Appreciation Month, honored individuals nominated by their organizations for contributions to healthcare, education, housing, environmental stewardship and community development programs across the borough.
