STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — After 25 years in business, Garber’s Do It Best Hardware in Richmond Valley is closing its doors.
“It’s bittersweet, but it’s time,” said Stuart Garber, one of three brothers who have run the family business for decades. “The dynamics of retail have changed.”
