(FOX40.COM) — A residential garage and vehicle were destroyed Friday after Lodi Fire Department crews prevented a fire from spreading to the rest of the home, the department announced in a social media post.
At about 11:25 a.m. Lodi firefighters responded to a report of a structure fire on the 400 block of Valley Avenue in Lodi. Crews arrived to find a home’s garage in “heavy flames,” with one car inside and multiple vehicles in the driveway, fire officials said.
Firefighters took steps to contain flames to the garage and save the rest of the single-story house.
