Syracuse man set fire to house and blaze spread to back to home he owns, police say

Syracuse, N.Y. – A Syracuse man has been charged with arson after setting a house on fire Wednesday following an argument, according to police and court documents.

The man poured gasoline inside the home, leaving a trail of gas to the front porch that he set on fire with a lighter, police said in court papers filed in Syracuse City Court. The man had an argument with a person at the home, police said.
