Churches fill gaps in need for food and clothes

Many churches take on the role of community supporter by providing food, clothing and diapers to their neighbors, which can be a lifeline for some people.

“It’s the end of the month, so it’s really busy here this afternoon,” said Rev. Nola Anderson, pastor at Brown Memorial United Methodist Church.
