Parents of disabled kids fault state for closing Jowonio School, which they saw as a godsend

Syracuse, N.Y. – The Jowonio School was shut down by the state this week for two separate incidents where children were left without an adult supervising them, according to records obtained by syracuse.com.

Still, parents of special needs children who relied on the school for essential services and therapy told syracuse.com the state overreacted and has made their lives worse.
