Man who had murder charges dismissed twice sues Syracuse police alleging they fabricated evidence

Syracuse, N.Y. ― A Syracuse man who had murder charges against him dismissed twice for lack of evidence has filed a lawsuit against police and prosecutors.

The 52-page complaint filed Friday alleges police fabricated evidence and ignored facts that contradicted their theory in the 2022 murder.

The lawsuit also accuses Onondaga County prosecutors of failing to properly review the case before choosing to indict the man a second time…
