Syracuse man accused of attempted murder of police officers indicted on at least one charge

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — The man accused of shooting police officers last month appears to have been indicted on at least one charge by an Onondaga County Grand Jury.

Because grand jury proceedings are confidential, it’s not yet publicly known what charges were voted on by the grand jury in its indictment of 55-year-old Rodney Vanderpool.

Vanderpool is scheduled for a new arraignment on Thursday in Onondaga County Court, when the charges will become public information.
