Syracuse, N.Y. – New York housing officials are poised to green-light a state-subsidized $268 million transformation of the long-troubled Parkside Commons housing complex on Syracuse’s East Side.
The ambitious project will not add to the existing 393 apartments, but it’s expected to sharply improve current conditions, cut down on crime and pave the way for additional housing in a future phase.
