Boeheim’s Army, which embarks on its journey to win the 2026 The Basketball Tournament (“TBT”) in a matter of days, has a head coach along with two assistants who have ties to Syracuse basketball.
Syracuse.com reports that the head coach of Boeheim’s Army this summer is Thomas Bridges. Most recently, in the 2025-26 season, Bridges served as an assistant coach with the Long Island Nets, the NBA G League affiliate of the Brooklyn Nets.
Prior roles for Bridges include two seasons as an assistant coach with the NBA G League’s Osceola Magic (the affiliate of the Orlando Magic), four seasons as an assistant video coordinator with the NBA’s Philadelphia 76ers and a video coordinator with the Delaware Blue Coats (G League affiliate of the 76ers)…
