Syracuse, N.Y. – Travelers flying out of Syracuse airport pay among the highest parking rates in Upstate New York, and now they’re paying even more.
Syracuse Hancock International Airport raised the daily rate at its parking lots by $1 on July 1, the first change in a year. That change came as the airport took over parking operations, rather than working with an outside vendor.
That boosted the daily charge at its economy lots from $13 to $14, and from $15 to $16 at its outdoor terminal lot. The rate at the airport’s parking garage did not change, remaining at $22 a day…
