CATO, N.Y. — The Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Cato couple in connection with a fraud case.
The sheriff’s office charged Homer H. Rice, 40 and Ivy Rice, 38, with welfare fraud in the fourth degree, grand larceny in the fourth degree and misuse of food stamps. Ivy Rice is also facing an additional charge of offering a false instrument for filing in the first degree, a felony.
