Syracuse teen admits he and two others accidentally shot friend who later died

Syracuse, N.Y. ― An 18-year-old admitted Thursday that he was one of three people responsible for the accidental fatal shooting of their friend during a failed drive-by shooting in 2024.

Torrin Brown, of Syracuse, pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

He was promised a sentence of 11 years in prison after he agreed to testify against his codefendants Quinntone Moore and Uzziah Murray if either of them goes to trial…
