A brouhaha is bubbling over a brand-new bakery in Eastwood.
On the same day syracuse.com published a story about “tha bejkurij” bakery at 273 S. Midler Ave. in Eastwood, which had been open a couple of weeks, a violation letter was delivered to the landlords and a stop work order was taped to the front door, where it remains.
The three-page letter from Syracuse code enforcement, dated July 31, outlines a series of violations. It asks the company that owns the building to “obtain all the required permits,” and says the “bakery should not be open for business.”…
