SYRACUSE, N.Y. — A woman accused of driving drunk in a Syracuse crash that killed a 3-year-old girl is now facing a second-degree murder charge, as prosecutors reveal new details about what they say happened in the hours before the crash.
Jazmine Vann is accused in the crash that killed 3-year-old Yasmeen Shaaf nearly three weeks ago. The Onondaga County District Attorney’s Office says police encountered Vann earlier that night, determined she was intoxicated and warned her not to drive.
