SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR) — A man who was taken to a Syracuse hospital for a gunshot wound on Tuesday is expected to survive, police said.
Syracuse Police Department Sgt. Tom Blake said in a statement that at about 4:18 p.m. Sept. 1, officers were sent out to St. Joseph’s Health Hospital Emergency Services, 711 N. Townsend St., for a reported gunshot victim who came to the emergency department by a private car.
Officers found a 29-year-old with a gunshot wound to the chest when they got the hospital. The man is in stable condition and is expected to live…
