SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The Syracuse Police Department said it recovered an illegally possessed handgun when apprehending a juvenile suspect.
The department said Officers Mulroy and Metcalfe were conducting patrol in the area of Glenwood Avenue when they observed a juvenile male riding a VEO scooter in violation of vehicle and traffic laws and attempted to conduct a traffic stop.
