SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Looks like a nice evening for a classic rock band performing in Suburban Park!
Are you heading out to the Fair on Friday? What’s it supposed to be like out?
Look at all the heat that happened across the Midwest and Ohio Valley with mid and upper 90s! Our air temperatures will moving in from Sault St. Marie and Green Bay in the mid 70s to low 80s for Friday, then a bit less warm for Saturday, Sunday and Labor Day.
After a couple weak systems ( yellow dashed lines to out west) fizzle and dry out, a strong and slow-moving high pressure makes it really nice for Syracuse and CNY Saturday through Tuesday.

This model doesn’t show any green, but other models do have the chance for sprinkles or a little light rain west and south of Syracuse closer to dinner time. Syracuse east and north should stay dry during this time.
The extended outlook shows some really nice weather most of the time over the weekend. Some extra clouds from low pressure out by Maine and Nova Scotia may keep places like the Mohawk Valley a bit cooler than locations with more sun out like the Finger Lakes.
Out next best chance of any real rain will not be until next Wednesday and Thursday.
