Syracuse, N.Y. — The state is suing to shut down two Dollar General stores over unsanitary conditions, including dead and live mice, mouse droppings and gnawed food packages.
In lawsuits filed on Tuesday in state Supreme Court in Albany County, the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets is seeking court orders to close the Dollar General stores at 401 W. Seneca Turnpike and 1223 South Ave. in Syracuse unless they correct the unsanitary conditions.
