Two Syracuse-area restaurants are closing within weeks of each other, one less than a year after reopening and the other after a two-year run along the Seneca River.
Primo Nestico’s Bistro & Bar in North Syracuse closed Wednesday night. Fireside by the River in Baldwinsville will serve its final meals Sept. 27.
The restaurants had different owners and different reasons for closing, but both represented ambitious attempts to breathe new life into longtime dining destinations.
