Fair crowds near 2025 mark as storms flood Restaurant Row, Third Eye Blind draws 49K

GEDDES, N.Y. — Another year at the fair is coming to a close after days of rides, food, concerts and crowds, with many fairgoers saying they found the traditions that keep them coming back.

“I like the Center of Progress buildings. I like to walk around and see what’s there and of course the food, seeing what’s here for food,” fairgoer Kelli Howe said.

For Chrissy Manzi, it was simple: “The corn. I love the corn and the baked potato too, but the corn is really, really good.”…
