After Syracuse lost to Cal Saturday, head coach Fran Brown said he needed to watch the film of the defeat to evaluate his team’s performance, including quarterback Steve Angeli’s three-interception day, kicker Tripp Woody’s two missed field goals and SU’s 15 penalties for 132 yards.
On Monday, Brown offered his insight into the Orange’s play against the Golden Bears but also looked ahead to Syracuse’s next game, a quick turnaround at Pitt Thursday. The head coach said his team moved past the Cal loss by 6 p.m. Sunday.
“We moved on,” Brown said of the defeat. “I’m talking about Cal because you guys keep asking me questions about them, but I kind of moved on. Our staff moved on. Everybody in our entire organization has moved on. We moved past. We can’t change the past. We can only learn from it and get better. That’s what we’re hoping to do.”…
