The City of Syracuse and the Onondaga Historical Association (OHA) will be commemorating one of the city’s most consequential events on Friday. The public is invited to attend a free program at Noble Cellar, 403 East Onondaga Street, which was once home to the former Wesleyan Church, to mark the 160th anniversary of the National Convention of Colored Men which opened at that location on Oct. 4, 1864.
