Chittenango Pop Warner officer arrested, accused of stealing money

CHITTENANGO, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — 45-year-old Danielle Thompson, of the Town of Sullivan, was arrested on Feb. 6 by the Chittenango Police Department following a months-long investigation.

Thompson was charged with grand larceny in the third-degree after being investigated for three months over a report of missing funds from the Chittenango Pop Warner Organization.

According to Chittenango Police, Thompson was a former officer in the organization. The investigation was initiated after the Chittenango Pop Warner Organization reported the missing funds to the police department.

Thompson was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Madison County Court…
