Cayuga County Sheriff Brian Schenck reports that deputies arrested 31-year-old Alice N. Crispell of Freeville on April 1 on a warrant for grand larceny. The warrant followed an investigation into an incident that occurred in August.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded on August 26 to a reported larceny at the Lowe’s store on Grant Avenue in Auburn. Investigators determined that Crispell allegedly stole merchandise valued at $1,419.78.
Authorities were unable to locate Crispell until April 1, when the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office notified Cayuga County deputies that she was being released from custody.
