Over 1,000 Clay National Grid users without power after car crashes into pole with transformer

Clay, N.Y. ― More than 1,000 National Grid users in the town of Clay are without power after a car crashed into a pole with a transformer following a vehicle pursuit, according to Onondaga County 911 dispatches and National Grid.

Just after 11 p.m., it was reported that a car hit a telephone pole with a transformer on Pine Hollow Drive after a traffic pursuit, according to dispatches.

An ambulance was called for a 28-year-old for chest pains, according to dispatches…
