Conditions are primed today for scattered severe thunderstorms to develop this afternoon with the chance of damaging winds, hail, and even an isolated tornado can’t be ruled out.
Another low-pressure system is crossing the Great Lakes region will swing through the northeast over the next 24 hours, shaping our weather pattern to finish the week.
By 2PM this afternoon the first thunderstorms should be popping on up radar and beginning to intensify.
During the late afternoon and early evening, storms will become more widespread with isolated severe storms quickly moving from west to east through the area.
