Fire badly damages business in Salina

Salina, N.Y. – A business in Salina was badly damaged by a fire on Saturday afternoon.

Around 2:40 p.m., firefighters responded to Budget Signs, 3719 New Court Ave., where they found smoke coming from the building, according to Lyncourt Fire Chief Louis St. Andrew. The business is across the street from The Pizza Cutters.

Crews sprayed water on the building and tore off the back right side of the building. They also tore open the roof to let heat out of the building, St. Andrew said…
