AUBURN, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — A Cayuga County grand jury indicted multiple people earlier this month, including a Syracuse man accused of swinging a machete at another person and an Auburn teen who police allege stabbed a victim with a knife.
A spokesperson for the Cayuga County District Attorney’s Office said in a statement Tuesday that the grand jury indicted Daniel Myvett, 35, of Syracuse, on a third-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
The indictment against Myvett alleges he “knowingly possessed a machete with the intent to use it unlawfully” when he swung it several times at another person outside the Cayuga County Department of Social Services on Genesee Street in Auburn on April 14…
