Do landlords that to provide air conditioning units in New York State?
It is that time of the year where you should have your AC unit checked out and tuned up to make sure that it is ready to go once the temps actually get to sweltering. If you wait, there could be a back up of scheduling because everyone is trying to do it at once. Plus, it is such a big cost and big investment for your home that you should make sure it is tuned up and properly working.
But, if you live in an apartment or landlord owned home in New York State, you might not have air conditioning. If you don’t does your landlord need to provide you with air conditioning? Does my landlord have to give me air conditioning?
The answer is no.
