Man shot in stomach on S. Salina Street in Syracuse, expected to survive

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — A man is his 20s was shot and injured on South Salina Street in Syracuse on Monday, April 27.

At around 8:33 p.m. officers with the Syracuse Police Department responded to the 4400 block of South Salina Street for a report of a shooting with injuries.

Upon arrival, officers located the man suffering from a gunshot wound to the stomach. The victim was transported to Upstate University Hospital, where he is expected to survive…
