Hit & run driver who struck mailboxes and a porch sought for questioning

MARSHALL, N.Y. — The New York State Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash that occurred on Friday, April 24, 2026, in the town of Marshall.

On April 24, 2026, at approximately 11:30 a.m., State Police were dispatched to 2786 State Route 12B for a report of a motor vehicle accident involving a vehicle that struck a building.

An investigation determined that a silver Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck was traveling southbound on State Route 12B when troopers say the driver left the roadway and struck two mailboxes and a residential porch located just east of the roadway…
