Syracuse, N.Y. — The city of Syracuse began emergency demolition Wednesday of a large North Side building that officials say was nearing a collapse.
A contractor hired by the city is taking down the Bodow Recycling warehouse at the corner of Hiawatha Boulevard and North Salina Street. It’s a busy intersection where on- and off-ramps to Interstate 81 are also located.
