Maker Faire
Maker Faire returns to the New York State Fairgrounds on Saturday, filling the Center of Progress building with arts, crafts and high-tech creations during the fifth annual event. Attendees can watch demos and experiments, play games and shop for art, inventions, clothing, accessories and more made by local artists. The event also includes video game tournaments, a cosplay parade and a costume showcase. Maker Faire runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for kids at the door.
Crawfish Festival
Also Saturday, Clinton Square will host a taste of New Orleans in downtown Syracuse during the Crawfish Festival. Running from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., the nearly 20-year-old festival will feature seafood and beignets, along with two stages of live music. Organizers say the event…..
