WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) – As 7News reported earlier in the week, Vietnam Marine Veteran Raymond Sliwinski couldn’t go on an honor flight to Washington D.C. Saturday, but he got his own sendoff.
As he went to Syracuse to welcome back his fellow vets, Sliwinski was escorted by local Motorcycle clubs and celebrated by the community in Watertown. He says he’s thankful for everyone that showed up.
“God bless them… America, and the people that are going to get involved in this,” said Sliwinski. “That’s what I’d like to say.”…
