Syracuse Police release name of man who was electrocuted by power lines and died

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The Syracuse Police Department released the name of a person who was electrocuted and died in the city last week.

The department identified the deceased as Daniel Ignacio, 43, of Syracuse.

On April 30, around 3:21 p.m., officers responded to Martin Luther King West for the incident. The police found Ignacio inside a hydraulic lift that had been raised to around 20 feet off the ground. National Grid lowered the lift and officers confirmed Igancio was deceased…
