Auburn police arrest man with crack cocaine, $6,000 in possession

AUBURN, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — After Auburn police officers arrested a man, they found 3.2 ounces of crack cocaine, a digital weighing scale, and nearly $6,000 in his possessions.

Two officers were on patrol nearby when they saw the suspect, Harold Wallace Jr., walking along East Genesee Street, according to a statement from Chief Matthew Androsko. Police knew prior that Wallace had an active arrest warrant for assault in Rochester, Androsko said.

Auburn Police then took Wallace into custody and searched him, during which they found the illegal items…
