LYSANDER, N.Y. — The Town Board of the Town of Lysander enacted a moratorium on any new data storage facilities.
That means over the next 6six months, no applications will be accepted by any board with appropriate authority in Lysander, including the Town Board, Planning Board, and Zoning Board of Appeals.
The Town Board acknowledged the potential impact of data storage facilities on Lysander’s infrastructure, environment, public health and safety, and community character.
