CICERO, N.Y. (WSYR-TV)–The south bay bridge in Cicero is back open after it was closed for nearly two and a half months.
During the closure, local businesses felt a ton of impact. Jennifer Niziolek, a barber at Lisis Barber Shop on South Bay Road in Cicero, tells NewsChannel Nine that their regular schedule was disrupted during the closure.
“We definitely had comments about it, you know, and our regulars didn’t come as much as they used to; every four weeks turned into every couple months.”
The barber shop even had customers reaching out to see if they were closed due to the bridge work…
